SpeciTec User Group 2026: Bringing the Private Banking Community Together

The 2026 SpeciCRED & SpeciVIM User Group brought clients and SpeciTec teams together in Geneva to exchange ideas on credit, compliance, AI and the operational priorities shaping private banking.

Credit, compliance, AI and the everyday realities of private banking took centre stage at the 2026 SpeciCRED & SpeciVIM User Group at Mandarin Oriental Geneva.

Technology develops through dialogue with the people who use it. Our annual User Group creates space for that exchange, bringing clients and SpeciTec teams together to share experiences, explore product developments and discuss evolving priorities.

This year’s gathering offered an opportunity to step back from day-to-day operations and consider a shared question: how can technology better support the work of private banking teams?

Connecting product development with banking practice

For credit and compliance professionals, the value of software lies in how well it supports their responsibilities. Clear information, consistent workflows and effective monitoring matter every day.

The SpeciCRED and SpeciVIM User Group brings these operational needs into the conversation. Alongside updates from our teams, the event provided an opportunity for clients to exchange ideas with peers and discuss the challenges facing their institutions.

These exchanges help us keep product development grounded in the realities of private banking.

Credit, compliance and operational efficiency

The programme brought together our latest developments across credit management and compliance, with SpeciCRED and SpeciVIM at the heart of the discussions.

For credit teams, the broader objective is to connect credit processes, collateral information and risk monitoring so that users can assess situations and act with greater clarity.

For compliance and client lifecycle teams, the focus is on supporting structured processes, accessible client information and coordination across functions.

Bringing both perspectives into the same event reflects how closely these responsibilities are connected within a bank. Improvements in one workflow must also make sense for the teams and processes around it.

Exploring the practical role of AI

AI was another central theme of this year’s edition, alongside its potential contribution to operational efficiency.

For SpeciTec, the starting point is a concrete banking need: where could AI assist with analysis, help teams navigate information or reduce repetitive work? Its usefulness must be considered alongside the oversight and accountability required in a banking environment.

The User Group provided a setting to share our developments in this area and exchange perspectives with the professionals who may use them.

Keeping the conversation open

The value of a User Group extends beyond the presentations. It is also in the questions raised, the experiences shared and the conversations between clients, speakers and product teams.

We sincerely thank all the clients who joined us at Mandarin Oriental Geneva, as well as our colleagues for their contributions.

Continued dialogue with our users remains essential to how we develop SpeciCRED and SpeciVIM. We look forward to building on these exchanges together.

Would you like to explore a credit, compliance or AI use case for your bank? Let’s start a conversation.
